Remake of Book 2 of Mystery of Emblem. For those who don't know it, that game included two parts: the first one was Shadow Dragon (Book 1, which isn't included here) and the second one is this one (Book 2). But with almost the same things as Shadow Dragon (multiplayer through wi-fi, design, etc).
Between the new things are downloadable content, the creation of 'Your Unit' by choosing different parameters (and he/she will be able to fight and talk with the other characters), an optional mode where your characters don't die permanently, a guide and relationships like Radiant Dawn, the BS Fire Emblem, and other things and changes regarding Shadow Dragon which makes the game more complete and interesting.
About the story, this one continues after Marth defeated Medeus with the divine sword, Falchion. The people and the continent are still reconstructing their lives, but Hardin married princess Nyna, becoming Akaneia's Emperor. Then, he accused Grust, Gra, Medon and Doluna for crimes and due to the wars, pushing them to pay money; but looking for more power, he began to punish them, looting them.
