Strategy

This map doesn't differ much from the previous ones, you'll go against horseback units and armored units, but in this one there are also shamans and mages, as well as the many reinforcements stated above. It's for best to finish this chapter as soon as possible, since in every chapter if you defeat the boss, the reinforcements will stop appearing.
Bring your axe-users, preferably all of them, since most of your enemies are knights, soldiers or cavaliers and a few reinforcement peg knights. Also bring Raven to make use of the Longsword, since Eliwood and Lyn already have their special weapons, Guy has lower defense and can be defeated rather easily by a cavalier. The lords' special weapons will be, once again, of much use, as well as the hammer and magical attacks, but always try to attack with normal weapons to avoid wasting these rare weapons' uses.

Recruit Legault and send him to steal an enemy thief's Member Card, which will allow you to enter into secret shops. The thieves will flee from the map as soon as they finish stealing all the treasures on the map, when they reach the top left part of the map; the one with the Member Card will escape around turn 9 if you have opened chests 2 and 3 (if not, he'll go to steal them), Legault, though, will escape exactly on turn 9, for this reason you have to catch up to him before. And also to make things easier, bring Keys (both door and chest keys) to take the treasures more quickly and to have not to trust only in your thief. If you have troubles recruiting Legault, simply head up with the intention of killing Cameron as quickly as possible, and send someone with a Door Key transporting Hector or Lyn to intercept Legault right in front of Darin.

Boss Data

Cameron
Paladin - Level 4
"One of the Black Fang. Guards the Dragon's Gate."
HP Str Skl Spd Lck Def Res Con
Stats 31 9 10 12 5 10 11 11
Items
- Halberd

Cameron won't be much of a problem, just attack him with Hector or Lyn and her special weapon and he'll die within a few hits, just place someone between the hallways to attract him, for he won't move unless you enter within his attack range. You must be careful with who do you place there, for a cavalier and Cameron himself carry weapons effective against armored and horseback units, respectively.

Leave a good axe-user along with an archer near Merlinus to defeat turn 9's peg knights. Also be very careful with turn 20's reinforcements, if you don't eliminate them quickly enough, they can accumulate and become troublesome.

Boss Data

Darin
General - Level 5
"Marquess Laus. Power-hungry and Spiteful."
HP Str Skl Spd Lck Def Res Con
Stats 34 14 9 8 2 15 13 15
Items
- Spear

If you don't know what you're doing, Darin can defeat you in one strike. First of all, don't attack him with iron weapons, you can use Dart and a Hammer, afterwards somebody with a Heavy Lance if you still have it and if he's still breathing, finish him off with magic, if he endures it, make Hector with the Wolf Beil or Raven with the Armorslayer give him the finisher, though it will ultimately depend on who have you trained. Do note that he's got equipped a Spear that can attack from afar... which can make magic useless if your mages can't endure the counter, and if they do indeed endure a hit, rescue them right after or Darin will finish them off on his turn, make someone else drop the mage, heal him and attack again in the next turn.
